**Important Information Before Booking**
The Oberlin Palais Collection includes three reservation options within the same physical property footprint: The Oberlin Palais, The Oaks @ The Oberlin Palais, and The Alcove @ The Oberlin Palais. Access, amenities, parking areas, and available spaces are determined by the specific listing reserved.
The City of Raleigh requires short-term rental hosts to maintain, for three years, a list of all overnight guests staying on the premises. To comply with this requirement, the Primary Guest must complete and submit our Pre-Arrival Form with accurate information for all overnight guests at the earliest convenience, but no later than 7 days before arrival, so we can prepare for the stay and support a smooth check-in process. For reservations made within 7 days of arrival, the form must be submitted promptly after booking. The personal access code will not be activated until the completed Pre-Arrival Form has been received.
Our home is maintained as an allergy-sensitive environment for the comfort and well-being of our guests, including families with animal allergies, sensitivities, asthma, or related health concerns. To help preserve this environment, animals are not permitted in our home, including animals belonging to overnight guests, visitors, vendors, invitees, or event attendees. Guests with animal-related accommodation questions should reach out to us before booking so we can thoughtfully review the request.
Our home is smoke-free. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside our home or anywhere on the property, including porches, balconies, outdoor living areas, driveways, walkways, and landscaped areas. This includes cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, vaping devices, e-cigarettes, hookah, and similar products. Because our home is carefully prepared for each guest, including guests with sensitivities, allergies, asthma, or related health concerns, any violation of this policy is considered a serious violation of our House Rules & Guest Standards. Guests will be responsible for additional cleaning, deodorizing, restoration, damage, loss of use, and any related costs needed to return the home to its smoke-free condition.
Private family gatherings, milestone celebrations, retreats, dinners, and approved events are welcome when disclosed and approved in writing before the stay. Ticketed, public, promoter-led, open-invitation, paid-entry, or disruptive events are not permitted.
If you are planning a 2026 or 2027 gathering, we would be honored to help you explore whether The Oberlin Palais is the right fit for your stay.
